What does our therapy look like?

Therapy sessions are usually an hour long and can take place in our clinic room, at your home, or any other place your child spends significant amounts of time. Every therapy session looks different because what we do depends on your goals and your child’s individual needs. We take a play-based approach to therapy and use a variety to strategies to help your child to work towards his or her goals. Every therapy session will include parent training - the most important part of therapy is working on your child’s goals in daily activities. During therapy sessions, you will learn strategies to incorporate learning into your daily interactions with your child.
